When performing site-directed mutagenesis using the Mut Express Universal site-directed mutagenesis kit, the primer design is flexible, and the Input amounts of template are extremely low, which facilitates the complete degradation of the original methylated template. If the amplification products are specific, the Dpn I digestion products can be used directly for recombination reactions without DNA purification, making it the preferred kit for DNA multi-site mutations.
